About Me

Experienced Business Solutions Consultant

With a background spanning over two decades in engineering and production management, I have built extensive experience in both the UK and Australia. My career began by managing small shift teams in sugar factories, which laid the foundation for my leadership skills. Upon moving to Australia, I took on the challenge of managing a large commercial bakery with over 500 staff, which broadened my experience in operations and team management. Over time, my interests evolved towards the strategic elements of running businesses, particularly within smaller, family-run enterprises. This shift allowed me to apply my practical, hands-on approach to helping businesses achieve sustainable success.

Beyond my work, I actively engage in various professional networks, including the Industry Leaders Fund Scholars network, The Executive Roundtable, the Institute of Managers and Leaders, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I am passionate about mentoring students at the University of South Australia’s Business School, where I have guided undergraduates and MBA candidates since 2009. My mentoring role allows me to share insights and provide advice to students as they navigate their career paths. On a personal note, migrating to Australia in 2001 with my family was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Today, I continue to enjoy life in Adelaide, balancing my professional pursuits with a dedicated fitness routine that keeps me motivated and energized.
